PreneedLeads.app is a product of funeral.link, operated by Funeral Link LLC (5900 Balcones Dr, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78731). We generate preneed leads for funeral homes. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this site, where a funeral home can see what we offer, how our pricing works, and get in touch.
When you contact us — through the form or the chat — we collect what you provide: your name, email, phone number if you choose to leave one, the funeral home you work for, and your message. If you start filling in the form and don’t send it, the fields you completed may still reach us; we treat those with the same care as a sent note, and you can ask us to delete them. We also collect basic technical usage and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the site. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this site.
We use what you send us to answer you, to follow up with you about PreneedLeads, to operate, improve and secure the site, and to measure whether our advertising is working.
This is a marketing site and we advertise it, so we should say plainly what that involves. This site loads the Meta (Facebook) pixel. It tells Meta that a visit or a form submission happened here, which is how we measure whether an ad we paid for actually reached a funeral home, and how Meta finds homes like yours to show it to. You can limit that from Meta’s own ad settings, and from the tracking controls in your browser or phone.
The product this site describes runs marketing campaigns for funeral homes. The households a mailer reaches, the people who RSVP to a seminar, and the families who raise a hand to plan ahead belong to the funeral home the campaign was run for — not to us. We process that information on the home’s behalf, we do not build our own marketing lists from it, and we never contact those families for anyone else.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with data brokers. What you tell us about your own preneed program — what you run today, what it costs you — stays inside our team.
We share your information only as needed: with service providers that help us run the site and our advertising (such as hosting, email delivery, and the ad platforms named above), each under a contract requiring them to protect it and use it only for us; where required by law or to protect rights and safety; and, if the business is ever transferred, subject to this policy.
We keep your inquiry for as long as needed to answer it and to maintain reasonable business records, and then we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. To make a request, email privacy@funeral.link and we’ll respond within the time applicable law requires.
We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards and limit access to what's needed to run the site. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care and will notify you and the authorities of an incident as the law requires.
This site is intended for adults — the funeral professionals who run a firm. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children here.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here, and the “last updated” date above will change.
